Would say minimum charge 2 hours in the morning and again 2 after school otherwise its not worth doing, even if child is dropped off at 830 to be in school for 9 its an insult to you to work for any less, good luck

meninas · 04/04/2007 18:25

The same but i only do if i get the school break too. Good luck

ayla99 · 04/04/2007 18:46

I now charge session rates - £4 for 8-9 am, £12 per after school day til 6pm. Breakfast £1.25, dinner £1.80. school holidays are £32 8-5:30 or £23 9-3.15pm. Reductions if they book all week.

dmo · 04/04/2007 21:15

i charge £3.20 per hour inc breakfast and school run so if child came to me 7.30am until 9am it would cost £4.80

and after school the same with snacks included, if they stay till 5.30 or beyond and they would like a sit down tea with my family then its an extra £1

ThePrisoner · 04/04/2007 21:40

I charge the same hourly rate for all children, whatever their ages.

I charge for a minimum of one hour for before/after-schoolers. If they only want mornings, I only charge for the morning (and same for afternoon-only care).

dmo · 04/04/2007 21:53

same as theprisoner
