As its the holidays am thinking about trying to book a bouncy castle one day, just wondering if there are any rules etc regarding mindees? Maybe I should produce a permission slip for them to sign just in case maybe? Any advice gratefully received, TIA

I would expect that it would be the same as for trampolines, as the risks are similar.

My insurance provider told me that they advised that I obtain written permission from the child's parent, giving permission for the child to use the equipment. Also that manufacturers' guidelines regarding the use of such equipment must be followed.

If you hire one for a day, the company should have insurance which you could ask to see.

When our school did a sponsored bounce we had to sign a permission slip.

Thank you think I will get them to sign one anyway just to cover myself!!!! Seems a shame you have to plan ahead to have fun sometimes!!!!! Never mind thanks again.
