Childminder costs before and after school

Currently looking into wraparound care for my four year old who is starting school in September. Can any childminders tell me what you charge for before and after school please (including drop off and pick up and meals)? Just so I can compare. It seems a lot more expensive than school breakfast/after school club, but may suit us better. Thanks in advance.

I charge £5 for school drop off (8-9) and £16 for after school (3.15-6) includes after school snack and dinner.

Surely this will vary hugely on area? I used to pay £5 per hour.

I charge £7.50 before school which is anytime from 7:30 - 8:45, £18 after school up to 6pm regardless of whether it's 30 minutes or 3 hours & an extra £2 for tea. I also do combined total of £23.50 for complete wraparound inc meals - in SE & fully booked with waiting list.

After school club charges £5ph, no minimum fee & you can book with just 24 hours notice so much cheaper but in our area at least, the demand seems to be for cm over asc.

I pay £5 for before school then £10 for after, including meals. Ds has breakfast at home as we get there literally as they leave for the school run but that's our choice.

I'm aware my area is pretty cheap though.

Thanks all, sorry should've said area - Manchester

I'm about to put my fees up for before and after school to £4.25 ph. I am more expensive than most in my town too. The after school club charge £15 for 7.30-6, so cheaper if you use all those hours, but most families round here don't need the long hours offered and get annoyed having to pay for them.

Its hard to compare cm fees against school clubs too as breakfast clubs are subsidised as so many children were going to school hungry and unable to concentrate often teachers would bring their own food in. They have totally different regulations in terms of numbers and their premises are generally subsidised if not free.
