I am accredited, and have a Ofsted for that. My Ofsted is due in December this year. 4 year old I have that I use the Accreditation for will be at school by then, the other child I have will only be 18 months, (I do have another child who will be leaving before then) If I don't fill the space with a 3 year old, what sort of inspection will I have.

If I don't have a 3/4 year old present for the inspection, will I just get a Satisfactory, as when you have a normal Inspection without a child present, or can I request having a normal Inspection, ie not for the accreditation.

Sorry, no idea really on that one. It will certainly be difficult to have an education inspection without any funded children being present.

When inspector calls, tell them that you don't have any funded children present. The inspector may then be able to just do a care inspection.

Has your Accreditation network told you much about EYFS yet? Changes are due for September 2008, to a little way off yet. You can find consultation documents at DfES regarding EYFS.
EYFS will affect all childcare providers, it replaces the Foundation Stage Curriculum.
