I've been looking after two sisters for about 5 months now only two days a week before and after school. ever activitiy they don't want to do, one is always complaining about the food, they often argue with my children and all in all i find it very stressful. even during the week in getting stressed thinking about looking after them. Any advice.

Get rid!
Honestly yoiu do not want that sort of stress, if they are affecting your family & the other minded children then give them notice.
I struggled last year with a mindie, who I had cared for over 4 years, who was beginning to conflict with my family & mindies, so I eventually gave him notice. I know it meant that I 'lost' his younger sister as well, but my setting is so much happier now I am pleased I did the move.

Agree with badger - life's too short

They are arguing with your children... therefore they GO, unless that will stop instantly. Your family always comes first. Last thing you want is your own children to be unhappy just over a few hours of minded children.

thank you very much for your replies. The older girl is always putting my daughter down sometimes you just don't bond with mindees. but the only thing is the parents are so lovely and i feel that i'm letting them down. I find myself being bad tempeted with my kids during the week because i'm thinking about the mindees coming and nothing seems to be appricated by the kids but EVERYTHING is appreiciated by the parents thats what makes in so hard. but i think you're all right - i need to give notice for my own peace of mind. i used to look after a little boy at the weekends and it was wonderful really enjoyed it. not enjoying this. thanks

bmz im in a similar situation to you and been wondering what to do for best. I was about to give notice to mum last week when mum turned around to say her mum has just been diagnosed with breast cancer and had op this week and mum is also due to give birth in 4wks so i feel a bit stuck.
In your position I would give notice.I just feel I would be the meanest (if such a word) person alive to do it right now!
