Sorry all but just need to clarify this !
I know it means its non refundable lol
but does it come off the 1st bill like all deposits or is it just a one off payment?
I think I know the answer but wanted u lot to confirm

it doesnt come off the 1st months bill no.
i done this for a parent that could not afford to do retainer each week so i took a non refundable deposit which meant i was out of pocket overall but im just a bid softee!

THANKS for that smeeinit - I was thinking the same but my husband thinks it means it should come off the 1st bill!
Im sure if i explain to her that its a one off payment and she doesnt get it back then there will be no crossed wires

yeah definatly explain it to her like that,and also add that its for the reason that you could be earning an awful lot of money inbetween now and when she requires the space so you are being quite lenient keeping the space for her on just a deposit

My Cm referred to it as a start up fee, made it easier to understand.
