One of my mindees didn't get into his choice of school ( where my daughter got a place) this means that having been together since four & five months old they will now be separated.
I am going to miss him so much and it's going to be a wrench for my kids, this never gets any easier!

Oh no! I was so pleased when DD got into the same school as my mindee at that age. They even both moved schools at the same time. They are at different secondary schools, but still pass each other on the walk to the bus stop.

Does the mindees new school have an after school club ... and could then come to you in the holidays? I've done that before with mindees who've been separated from each other.

I'm sorry. You sound like a lovely childminder though.

Aah that's such a shame!
Our own children do form bonds with the children we care for-one of my mindees moved nearly 200 miles away and my DS was gutted!

He may still get a pace - there's lots of movement between now and September.

I was in Camden area for the 2006 birth year. Three of my friends had no offer at all and 6 had a low choice school. All apart from one had one of their preferred schools by September.
