Can soMe one help me work this out

I'm handing my notice in at my current 2 day a week job that is changing to 1 day a week.

My holiday allowance (which goes from jan - jan) was 11 days of which I chose 5. I've taken 2 so far & had saved 2 for xmas but notice period (4weeks) will end before then.

Can some one help me work out what holiday allowance I'll have left?

Hello

If you have 11 days then just under 1 day a month (0.91 days per month)_

Jan - Nov
11 x 0.91 = 10.01 you have taken 2 of these its a bit tricking I would say you have 7 and a bit left.

Are you leaving 4 weeks from today or end of Nov? if from today say 7 if from end of Nov it will be more like 8 days.

Unless you have taken the 5 days they choose in which case will need to recalculate.

They have used up their allowance Of 6days & I had taken 2 of my 5.

I intend to hand my notice in on Tuesday

10 in total (11/12x11) , so if you have already taken 8 you have 2 left. Doesn't make much odds whose choice it was.

So in total there has been 8 days taken, makes no difference whose choice they were.

If you work on a Wednesday then first of January was a Wednesday. Did you have that day off - it's a bank holiday. If you work Friday, then Good Friday was bank holiday. If you work on a Monday then there are several of those as bank holidays. These should be taken into account, should come out of your 11.2 days annual entitlement (your minimum entitlement is 5.6 x 2 days).

Does your employer use a payroll company? If so then they can calculate how much holiday you are due to be paid.

You could have a play with this calculator (gov.uk).
Using end date of 20th November (4 weeks from today), it comes up with 9.9 days.

So do the calculation on your actual leave date, see what it says and then see what your boss does. I would guess that you could agree on 10 days being the entitlement, 8 days of which have been used, thus you get paid for 2 days holiday.
