Looking for an au pair/live in nanny in Herts

Hi,
I am looking for an au pair/live in nanny for my 2 kids - 2 years old and 6 years old. The responsibilities will included: looking after, feeding, dropping and picking them up from school and some house chores. In returns I offer £350 per month, separate bedroom with its own bathroom, catering. A right person will have 3 days to its own disposal that could be used to work elsewhere (i.e. waitressing etc.)
The right person will have to speak/write English to a good standard and hold a driving license valid in this country. Ideally I would like a person to start in the middle of October.

thank you
Agnes

You haven't put how many hours you require on the ad OP.

Is your 2 year old at school also?

Hi Karoleann,
2 year old will be going to the preschool for few hours a week from January. It is hard to exactly say how many hours as it will be 3/4 full days.
Thanks

For £350 a month! You want 3/4 full days?

An au pair does max 25/30hrs a week. Usually works out just after school ie 3-6pm Mon-fri. Gets approx £100 a week. Doesn't do full time or care for small children ( usually under about 3)

Live in nanny. Will do full time but looking at £350-400 a week.

Either way £350 a month is way to low for the amount of care you want

You may find you get more response from your ad (if it's placed elsewhere too) if you specify whether it's a live-in nanny you want, or an au pair. They are separate jobs. I tend to ignore jobs with this job title because it says to me that someone wants a live-in nanny for the cost of an au pair. (That might not be what you're saying, but that's how I would read it).
But I agree that is a low amount of money for the hours you need. I was earning £300p/w as a live in nanny in Herts (for 5 days though).
