Hello

I have decided to become a nanny a since returning to work after having my son I don't feel challenged enough doing office work plus I wanted a job where I could see my son everyday. I have pretty much been all go since making the decision, I have done my DBS check, paediatric first aid, in the process of registering with Ofsted having completed my Common core course and most of the free courses on childcare.co.uk with their membership.

I will secure liability and car business insurance once I have found a job as I need to give a months notice in my office job.

I don't have much experience in childcare which is why I haven't had many replies from the 15+ jobs I apply for everyday, so I have decided to apply for before and after school roles or mothers help roles.

I have had a few people get back to me, but hours/salary/bringing my own child meant I haven't actually got to meet any of the families yet.
However I have found an after school job within a mile of my house:
The role is Mon-Fri 3pm-6/7pm for a 4 year boy and a 9 year boy school pick up from two different schools a few miles apart 1 finishes at 3 and the other at 3.30 (I have been told it is doable), bring them home, supervise homework, make dinner and then the mum will be home from 6-7pm I have told her I would take ÂŁ10 an hour and ÂŁ150 a week minimum which she said she is fine with and she knows my son will be there to.

Im meeting her tomorrow after lunch, im really nervous what sort of questions will they ask me?
what should I ask them?
what should I wear I was thinking black trousers and a nice top.
from other NWOC how will this work, will/should I feed my son there when they eat? Do I bring my own food or feed him what I make them and give her some money towards it something like ÂŁ1 per meal that my son eats there.
sorry to rant on but need advice...
thanks in advance
