Not sure but I really recommend trying ebay. You save LOADS and also, you will still have money left over to spend on other things!

HenniPenni · 19/09/2006 20:43

Hi strawberrymoon, personally I like the top one best as I think that it has better play value with the soudns etc. Am very , we have a wooden one but the kids won't go in it cos they insist that it's full of spiders and other critters - it gets used more for storage.

Try your local Freecycle!

Take into account imminent hurricane Gordon & proper autumn & winter settling in - how much time will they spend outside?

CristinaTheAstonishing · 19/09/2006 20:44

Oh, sorry, just saw the section this was in, presumably you're a CM so will make good use of it for more children.

StrawberryMoon · 19/09/2006 20:45

Still like the top one but it could end up costing a fortune in batteries.

SaintGeorge · 19/09/2006 20:56

What about this one? A lot cheaper so you could stock up on batteries for the doorbell with the money you save

looneytune · 19/09/2006 20:57

SM - I bought one of mine through ebay, printed off the receipt that came via email and they were fine with that.

SaintGeorge · 19/09/2006 20:57

And this one looks like fun.

StrawberryMoon · 19/09/2006 21:22

Quick thought, we have a wooden 2 story house use top for storage and children play in bottom. They can play out all weathers as it has plastic windows in. (unlike plastic houses that are open to everything)

StrawberryMoon · 20/09/2006 15:12

hmm but that means dp..hammer..screwdriver..lots of swearing..think ill opt for click together palstic one

Looks good, are you now going to shop around for best price? £175 inc standard delivery is lowest I've found so far on a quick search - from SendMeToys

dmo · 23/09/2006 22:59

looks good
children can enjoy pinics in it in the rain

StrawberryMoon · 23/09/2006 23:17

thanks nannynick..ive actually found somwhere that has one with a damaged box(have emailed to check on product) that i can get for £150 plus delivery..so ..very pleased, as long as no one gets in before me!!

I got exactly the same one from John Lewis...dd loves it and I am sure it was cheaper than at ToysRUs.
