our nanny is just about to be ofsted registered. We've built up a huge bank of vouchers so glad to use them up soon (kept claiming full amount for 18m when only using £ 200 odd a month for nursery/after school club. husband has just asked me if we still have to pay her paye out of taxed income or if we can do the paye in vouchers. Does anyone know?

I don't think HMRC take childcare vouchers, if that's what you're asking? Apologies if I've misunderstood the question!

Our new nanny is OFSTED registered and we'll be paying (in part at least) using childcare vouchers. We didn't think to ask, as I'd been using them previously for the pre-school, but she told us that she was happy to take them.

You can only pay the Net amount using vouchers. There is no way to my knowledge of using vouchers to pay HMRC so can't be used to pay Employers NI or employee deductions (income tax, ni).

thanks. I'd suspected that was the case. annoying though as makes p/t nanny more expensive than it needs to be (but so worth it for convenience)
