2 job interviews?

I have one job interview on monday and another on tuesday, which I'm quite happy about. However, I'm fairly certain I'll be recieving the job on monday as it is a family member of a very dear friend. I am unsure what to do about the other possible job if I am offered the job on monday? Do I call and cancel the interview? What do I say? I am positive that I want the Monday interview position, the tuesday interview is simply backup. Help!

If you know you're a shoe in for family job,why are you mucking about applying for other jobs
If yiu don't want tuesday job,yes do give advance notice of cancellation

If you feel absolutely certain after Monday's interview, then ( and not before) ring up and cancel Tuesday's

I agree. Wait until after Mondays interview to decide.

I would still go.
It never hurts to have a backup plan

I am with Insancerre,I would go to both interviews.

Go to both. If they offer it to you on Monday be straight with them - you really want the position but you have another interview the next day and will confirm on Wednesday. That way they know that even though you're a friend you're also a professional in demand!
Also you never know what they might say on Tuesday.

I would go to both and wait to hear who offers you what. If they offer you a job straight after mon interview, just be honest and say can I get back to you tomorrow!

Always good to have options and negotiation power. Go to both interviews and see who offers what and go from there. Good luck!
