Hi

Can some experienced parents help?????

What's the rate for a live in nanny/aupair?

Based in London.

Required to wake up children and do the morning and afternoon school run 4 days per week. To be precise 2 hours in morning and 4 in the evening.

Minor housework required i.e. cooking dinner and tidying up after children for the day, I'd still do the rest!

I'd provide travel and food!

We pay £100 a week for 35 hours a week plus free mobile with data, text and uk calls, oyster card set up with £10 on it, bicycle, 6 weeks paid holiday a year. We are zone 4. Just had 300+ applicants for latest role so am not planning to increase

Firstly nanny and au pair are two completely different jobs.

From the description you want an au pair. An au pair will generally be young, unqualified, limited experience. They're here to learn English/experience the culture/have a good time. Going rate is between 80-100 per week.

A nanny is someone who has chosen childcare as a career. They will often be qualified and/or very experienced. Many are Oftsed registered and can be paid with childcare vouchers. Professional nannies will be first aid trained, DBS checked and insured. The going rate is around 300-400 per week, depending on hours.
