Clean and tidy?

What is your definition of a clean and tidy playroom at the end of the day.

Mine is:
Wiped surfaces
Vacuumed
All toys away that go in boxes
All toys that are visible - neatly arranged

Everything in its home.

It gets cleaned once a week by the cleaner and that is generally sufficient. It will get a wipe/hoover if it needs it, but that's rare because we do any 'messy' activities in the kitchen.

My previous employer was so funny (strange) she wanted role play clothes folded up and put in box and all toys put in 'exactly' the right boxes. Tried to explain children did majority of tidy up time and I helped with final bits. Surely it doesn't really matter. The children will find what they want, how they want, usually all over the floor!!!! But then they would happily put rest away 'very quickly' so they could play. Play room is not an office.
I do a 'good clean and tidy' once a week

That's pretty much what we do. I think that's the benefit of having a dedicated playroom, they can keep stuff out overnight/set stuff up and everything gets properly tidied/sorted once a week.

FlusteredFairy1 my employers are the same. They prefer things in specific boxes. Totally impractical IMO, as long as it's in a box and out of sight it's good enough for me!

I think it's bits and jobs away not in use. For a dedicated playroom I think it's fine leaving a train set up or Lego creation on table. I would just tidy around those bits so excess track away for example but the bit they are playing with left out
