I nanny in Amersham, Bucks. I am an experienced nanny. What is a fair rate for a part time job. I am currently on £10phg for 10 hours one day

It could be in £7-15 range depending what the parents feel it is worth paying.

You need to decide what the minimum you would accept will be. £10gph could certainly be the salary you feel it is worth your time to do the job.

Are you prepared for them to choose to employ someone else, who is happy on the wage they offer?

FlusteredFairy1 · 26/05/2014 21:27

Absolutely. That will be their choice.

Hi OP,
Just wondering how you got on...?
Hope you're ok.

CreakingCrumpet · 01/06/2014 20:22

They are not back from holiday yet. Will message you. Would be lovely to meet up.

FlusterFairy1 · 11/09/2014 19:41

Hi, 18years, negotiations been and gone. I am still with family. Less hours less money but better hourly rate. So be it for next 11 months when it will all start again!!!!!!

allisgood1 · 11/09/2014 20:03

We paid £10/hr.

Monika2012 · 11/09/2014 22:00

I have been working as a nanny since 17 years now and I get paid 12£ p/h.
I have worked hard all this years to be where I am now. And it makes me laugh when people say 10£p/h. Because the 10£ they want to pay to all the same nannies that just came to the UK, they don't speak English and they have no qualifications as well as the once that have their qualifications, they speak English, etc. Come on. Be serious
