inspector was lovely, she made everything seem more like a chat and when it came up about a.d's and counselling i told her it was more to do with my childhood, which she had to ask about...she was very tactful, askied if i was troubled by discussing child protection and was very encouraging when i answered all her questions.
she loved the house and playroom, garden and said that if i care for mindees like i do for dd then i will have a wonderful, thriving business.
when i produced my t&c file and welcome pack, she said i have not sold myself as although she was more than happy with her visit, i had now put the icing on the cake showing how prepared and intersted i was(thanks for contract Katymac)
she said my attitude to care and my homes set up was outstanding and she see's no problem with my registrationa t all!
she left saying that she had no 'to do's' for me as everything was great and anything she may have asked about, i had already brought up showing honesty.
so am not feeling very

and am blowing my own trumpet

well i have a girl who her mum wants to start end of month, so if i am not reg by then, i will do the '2 hours' thing (and shell pay me) then ive been told i can look after her longer but cant get paid and wont be insured, basically like babysitting for a friend...ive explained this to the mum and to ofsted and they are fine(mum obv fine as shes getting full day care for a few quid!)she's going to uni full time and i dont want to scupper her plans or lose a soon to be paying full time mindee!
but hopefully crb checks will be quick cos that bank i robbed was a long time ago now and ill be reg by then
i also have another LO starting hopefully middle oct two afternoons a week...cant wait

so taking into account crb checks, how soon do you usually get your certificate???..crb should take 4 wks apparently?!
