I have just come to the end of my foundation degree and have just 1 more essay to write and I'm kind of stumped.

For one form of child abuse, identify the signs that may show that a child has been abused and discuss what methods the practitioner in the workplace might employ to protect that child. Provide a critical assessment of how the workplace might support children in keeping themselves safe.

So I know the signs of abuse - going to concentrate on neglect - but am stumped with the rest any ideas :)

Have you worked in child care before?

Did this not come up in your level 3???

Maybe I am being unreasonable here but I would of thought as you are doing a degree in childcare you should already know the answer to this question really...

Google will be your friend

check out the nspcc website
they have loads of practice guides
I do think this is quite basic for a foundation degree
but if you don't know then you don't know
that's why courses like this are good
to increase your knowledge

Neglect is probably the worst to answer the last part of the question. Other than helping children see that they are being neglected it's very difficult to enable them to keep themselves safe.
