I am planning to go back to work 2 evenings a week - working from 5 till 12.

It would pay really well and I think my brain is slowly turning to jelly being at home all of the time - I think it would be good for DS to socialise more with other children and hopefully would cure his problems with food if he saw other kids eating outside the house.

It would mean me dropping DS with a childminder at about 3 so the childminder could then go and get DD for 3.30 at the school and DH (I wrote DP and then realised he wasnt anymore ) would then collect them at 5.30.

Do you think it is odd to ask a childminder to only have the kids for that short a time and it would only be for 2 evenings a week.

Twinkie1 · 14/08/2006 13:45

So at childminders from 3 for DS (aged ??) Collect DD (aged ??) from school

For collection at 5:30

With tea or without

At mine they would be fed and it would cost about £15 - but you can probably get cheaper

The problem will be DS (unless C/Mer has a child that finishes early)

Twinkie1 · 14/08/2006 13:49

Oh right thanks - think I may go and ask DDs old childminder and see if she could hypothetically do it and how much it would cost and if she can't have a word up the school.

Keep helping though as I need as much advice as I can throw at DH!!
