Have 2 kids - 5 and 2. in Summer, in my annual leave would like to complete one course and get a certificate. thinking to get a nanny for aboout 4 months so that I can get n with my certificate? Just thinking either I do it now, or I do not do it at all and stuck with my present CV

If you can afford it, why not? It's for your career. You'd need to be organised so you actually get down to work on the days the nanny is in.

Some nanny payroll companies may do you a special price on doing the admin as it is a short period of time, worth asking.

Fixed term contract could be used, so at start the nanny knows the end date.

Could work for someone, so worth looking to see if anyone would be interested.

You can't be in the UK then if you worry about missing sunny days :)

No need to feel guilty, doing your professional development will benefit them too.

Any nanny worth her salt will have plenty of ideas to make the most of any sunny days we have, and your kids will have a ball.

I'm assuming your professional development will enhance your chosen career, potentially leading to career advancement. Which in turn will benefit your family.

If this is for your own personal development, then it will positively affect your self esteem, and that's a wonderful thing for your children to see.

At the very least it will demonstrate good study habits to your children (if there is an element of study at home), and they will see you working hard to achieve a goal, which is no bad thing.
