I'm trying to work out if it's affordable for us. OFSTED reg is required as NHS bursery require this in order for them to contribute
payment.

Don't know wages in your area specifically, but I would think you are looking at £300 pw gross roughly.

I would say £8+ per hour gross depending on age and experience of the nanny. If you ring notts nannies they will be able to advise you on salary

Budget for 360 gross per week plus employers NI and activity budget, mileage, food on duty.

Keep in mind it would be payable every week, so calculate yearly cost. Bursery may cover all year or may be term time only depending what sort of thing it is for. Unsocial (before 7am, overnight) may be higher.

Calculate what you can afford to pay and advertise to see who you get.

Look on childcare listing sites to get a feel for what local people want to earn,

we pay our live out p/t nanny £8 an hour gross in Derbyshire. Depending on where in Notts the rate will be similar but I know from talking to friends in in West Bridgeford that the rate is similar but goin g ore rurally to Gunthorpe/lowdham was £10-12/hr

I'm Ofsted registered & work 3 x 11-13hr day s a week in Bristol, I earn £8 gross an hour. I'm level 3 qualified & this is my first nanny job although I've worked in nurseries for 6 years before.
