Hi all,
I've had a bit of a look through previous threads and just wanted to check what the most recent points of view are.
We have a live-in nanny who is BRILLIANT and looks after our two kids 8am-6.30pm. We have a contract with specified hours, and we did specify a pay review after a year (which we have just hit).
I am keen to give her a pay rise, because she is so good - and just wondered what an average percentage amount would be for the rise. I am keen to recognise good work, but also clearly have a budget to keep to.
She is paid £450 gross per week, £360 net and hasn't asked for a payrise (although everyone likes getting them, right?)
Also, as benefits we pay 50% of an annual travelcard (zones 1-3), and have given her a gold merlin pass, and pay for annual membership to the zoo for her and DS1 (DS2 is still free).
We give 20 days holiday plus bank holidays (increasing by one day per year of continuous employement), and specify 50% of the holiday times.
Thanks for your time all!
