Does anyone know if I can terminate a contract with a childminder without notice ?

My childminder is looking after too many children , does this void our contract ?

Cm's child has hurt my child on a few occasions and I've noticed the injuries at bath time - she had not informed me. When I questioned her about then she knew nothing of them she said.

Any help ? I'm going crazy with it running round and round in my head !

Well, if she is over numbers she won't want to take it further will she? So you tell her you're leaving and explain your reasons. She can either prove she is all above board and expect you to pay or if she has something to hide she will let it go.

Have you already withdrawn your child?

I think when you have lots of small DCs together all day you would expect to get the occasional minor injury and I don't think the Dc would always tell/make a fuss at the time, so unless there's a lot more to it than you've said I don't think you have any other grounds not to pay.

I'd just like to point out that I didn't say Le215 did put money first, but that by leaving her child in unsatisfactory/arguably illegal childcare and only threatening to do something about it she could undermine her own credibility.
