Hello
I'm going back to work two days a week and wondered what ballpark I should expect to pay for an experienced Ofsted registered nanny in central London. It would be for a 1 and 3 yr old. 3 yr old in nursery 9-12.
Many thanks!

I think about £12-£13 ph gross
I pay £10 gross in SW London for a non-qualified nanny

Yes, roughly £11-£13ph gross

I'm an Ofsted registered nanny in London and that figure sounds right

I would say more towards the £13phgross as its only part time so people often want higher for less hours

We pay £11 net, can't remember what that is gross. She is qualified and outstanding.

About £10-12 net in central. I work in SW London and don't know any nanny on less then £10 net. Even though they range in experience and few have qualifications. My employer is now looking for an afternoon nanny as youngest is going to school she say £10net seems to be the magic number. Look on nanny agency websites in your area as a guide.

I pay £10/hr net to a nanny who works for me and one other employer, we split her tax free allowancw. She does two days a week for me and it works out around £280 per week all in, including tax and NI. Plus I pay her 45p per mile to use her own car.
