Welcome pack for AP?

Our first ever AP will join us at the end of August and I thinking about what sort of "welcome pack" to have ready for her. I have:

A map of our town
New sheets and towels for her
A little iPod dock for her room

What other stuff is nice to have ready for her? I don't want to set a precedent whereby hotel-type service is expected, but I'd like her to feel welcome on arrival.

Transport timetables?
Web addresses she can find other APs?

Thanks - can you get bus timetables? I guess I can ask at the bus station.

I told her about the Facebook AP page for our town and she has joined, also have arranged an enrolment appointment for her at the language school. I hope she will be happy!

Some toiletries. She will most likely come with basic luggage of one suitcase so have little space for shampoos etc...
Just some basics so cover the first week or so before she heads into town. Shampoo/ shower gel/ soap/ toothpaste/ toothbrush

List of places to take children. Maybe look at an annual pass if you don't have so they can for example all go swimming unlimited or to local farm. Will get them out each day, ( and wear children out if they have a late afternoon swim regularly). I'm not sure what age children/ hours of work, but if after school 3-6, it could be perfect timing to allow for swim after school, homework done, and dinner started without them wondering what to do
