Hi Mumsnetters

I am interested in introducing a childcare voucher scheme at work. I would be interested on hearing any feedback you have (from parents but also childminders, nannies as well) on the various schemes out there. How reliable they are from your experience, any issues with payment etc.

Thank you!

Meant to say, I am also a mum myself so will be using them for me to pay my nanny and also after school activities so I want to be sure that I don't go with a scheme that has payment issues. Thanks!

In my experience, the best and most popular are Edenred, Sodexho and Kiddivouchers. Never had a problem with any of them and Kiddivouchers were once very on the ball over a missing payment - really went the extra mile to trace it Smile

Faircare, Care-4 and Co-Op are all "does what it says on the tin". No problems with any of them, but only had experience of one parent using each of them. Dealt with one of the Co-Op staff when registering with them - very friendly and helpful Smile

Computershare, formerly Busybees, have a reputation for delaying payments (nearly 2 weeks once Angry) This hasn't happened recently so maybe they've sorted themselves out. It used to happen a lot.

I shudder when a parent asks if I take Kids Unlimited. My experience with them started when the first email they sent advising me of a new parent was so badly spelled and grammatically incorrect, I assumed it was a scam and deleted it Blush
Missing payments, failure to email me when a payment is made, unhelpful staff - they are easily the worst I've had to deal with. Website is very basic and clumsy.

Faircare - as a nanny found them easy

Accor - quite easy though did want a receipt from Ofsted each year which caused problems initially as didn't know they needed that.

My employer uses kidsunlimited and as a parent I've found them to be excellent

HSMMaCM · 10/08/2013 22:30

My parents use a variety of companies. I hate computershare/busy bees.

Blondeshavemorefun · 11/08/2013 09:44

How weird that 2 of you have such different view on one company

Many of my friends are ofsted reg and often get paid a day or two late - I'm not sure If that's the vouchers fault or the parents for not being organised enough and making sure payment is there on time

Tanith · 11/08/2013 09:49

Chickensaladagain: Oh, I'm sure they are - you do have a different relationship with them, though. You are paying in and I am taking out, so far as they are concerned. They don't have to be nice to me.

My parents who use Computershare have never had any problems, either.

SoldeInvierno · 11/08/2013 10:08

I have been using Edenred (Accor) for 10 years and never had any problems

Jellyandicecreamplease · 11/08/2013 20:51

The parents who use me use Edenred, Computershare and Care4 - I haven't had any problems with any of them.

Can anyone confirm whether the providers allow you to draw funds from your account once they are cleared or do you have to pay a month in advance?

DorisShutt · 27/08/2013 19:12

Edenred (both as an employer and an employee) have een great; they also do other incentive schemes as well.

DorisShutt · 27/08/2013 19:13

With edenred, I can use the money the day it hits my account.

MrsApplepants · 27/08/2013 19:14

Edenred are great
