Childminders Club how shall I word my notice

I feel I need to give notice on a child in my care, but (and I feel terrible saying this) I can't see my reasons as being good enough to the parents. The only thing I can think of is that when my baby is due I might not want to work mornings, this child is the only one I do a morning school run for. However I'd obviously rather give notice sooner rather than later and this isn't valid now.

Argh.

Also does anyone else accept an averaged out payment? My school age kids parents pay me a weekly rate based on term time and holiday averaged out, however I'm now wondering what will happen if I give notice or for example need time off after maternity...

Thanks

With the averaged payment you work out how much minding he has had, how much you have been paid for and what is the difference - you may owe them money

For the notice - How PG are you could you say mornings are too hard/morning sickness/dr suggested you slow down?

I think you're right, you should tell them now rather than later. I think you're being very proffessional about it.
This way the parent has time to find alternative arrangments, rather than you waiting untill you really can't manage it, and leave them stuck!
