I just wanted to get some advice from you if that's ok.

I have a family if 2 children who I mind.

I was collecting them one morning a week 7.30 and bringing them back for breakfast and taking one of them back to school afterwards for 9am.

I need to accommodate another child now and this would mean I cannot collect them in the mornings as I would not make it back in time. I have asked the parents to drop them to me and they have told me this is not feasible for them and want me to now pick one of them up from nursery at 9 after the school drop off and not have the other child at all in the morning. This is fine for me to do timing wise but feel this is slightly unfair with regards to losing out on the 1.5 hours for each of the children they originally had as they now do not want to use my services from 7.30am and want me to adjust my future invoicing.

I just wanted to see what your thoughts are on this and what you would do?!

What was your original agreement? Sounds to me that you may have agreed that you would collect the children from their home, which is a service you are now no longer able to offer.

Were you only caring for them one day a week, or only doing the morning collection one day a week but caring for them for more days of the week?

I feel you need to decide if you want to continue to care for those children at all, and if so what you can do to accommodate your change in the contract (no longer being able to provide a collection from home service).

If the parents rely on you collecting their children as they cannot drop them off themselves and that's what you agreed but now you can no longer pick up there's nothing you can do tbh. Just write a new contract for one child from 9am.
If you really need that 1.5 hours and the other child maybe consider collecting earlier?

op, who do you think it's unfair on? you or them?
if you are contracted to work from 7.30am and now can't, then you will have to do a new contract for one child only and lose the income for the 2 children from 7.30-9am. i assume you will be making up this money anyway from the new child?
