Does this mean that we (nanny employers) would have to provide a pension scheme for our nannies?
Would we have to incurr the administrative costs?

From \link{http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/4874518.stm\Blair vs Brown on Pensions}

"This would allow people who were not part of an employer's pension scheme to take part in an occupational pension programme. They would automatically be enrolled in a scheme when they started a new job.

The would contribute 5% of their salary, with their employer paying in an extra 3%."

Do you think maybe we could means test the employers????

I'd expect tnat there would be some excemptions for small employers, typically employers employing less than 5 people. However, worth keeping an eye on the situaion to see how it develops.
