Hi, I have been doing cm afterschool for a while, registered last october but didnt really have anyone full time till the summer holidays. i managed to fake it through the holidays with varying amounts of children with varying likes dislikes ages etc.

Now i've agreed to take on 3 part time children, one 7 months, one 12 months and one 16 months.

I want to do CM properly and i want to produce a timetable so that my activities with the children can be organised and have positive outcomes.

Does anyone else have a timetable that they use, that i could have a look at to see how the day is structured?

I'm begining to think that i have bitten off more than i can chew.... BUT i have a week before they arrive with me, so i'm trawling the internet for ideas.

TIA

Depends if you want to be tied to a timetable. you can have a theme for the week, which you follow up with stories, art, outdoor play, etc???

I used to have a school, toddlers, lunch, nap, school, freeplay routine.

Maybe you were referring to 'planning' and a 'daily routine' which is what most c/ms do....
will you be loosely following the EYFS? and plan activities for your children ?

You are asking if you have taken on more than you can chew?....give it a try and then reflect how it is going.
