Our nanny won't working Mondays and will only work ties to fri. When working out her holiday leave, is she entitled to the public holidays being added back in?

Holiday entitlement used to be calculated as 4 weeks + bank holiday this has changed as part time workers (like your nanny) missed out on holiday.

It is now set out as 28 days holiday for people who work 5 days a week. So for a 4 day week she would be entitled to 22.4 days - you can round this up to 22.5 or 23 days but not down to 22.

Hope this helps. Info here.

22.4 days is minimum entitlement for someone working 4 days per week.

The calculation is 5.6 (weeks) working days per week. So 5.6 4 = 22.4

Only bank/public holidays thay fall on a working day can be included in that minimum entitlement. So Good Friday would in your case be a day you could tell your nanny to take off as part of annual leave.

Some years other bank/public holidays will apply, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Day.

Bank holiday Mondays will never be part if your nannies annual leave as your nanny is not contracted to work on a Monday.
