Advice for a Temporary Nanny

Lucy0806 · 06/07/2012 18:23

Hi I have been asked if I would consider becoming a temporary nanny for 3 days (including nights) for a family visiting the UK.

How much should I expect to charge for my services?

Do I need any form of insurance?

Thanks

tbh you should have insurance anyway if you are a nanny

what you charge depend on your area/age/exp etc

im assuming you will be alone with the children 24/3

I will have the children from Monday lunchtime until Friday lunchtime.
The children will be attending a gymnastics camp for some of the time, one child will attend camp 10-12 mon, tues, thurs and fri and one child will attend camp 10-3 mon, tues, thurs and fri.

I do not normally do nannying, I am a teacher.

I have asked around and I am thinking of £100 per day (£400 in total) plus expenses. Does this sound like a fair price?
