Am just being curious what you call the children you look after when talking to others who dont know them etc?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I refer to the children in my care as 'my charge'.

callaird · 06/07/2012 19:26

My charges. Although a lot of people don't know that term!

Blondeshavemorefun · 06/07/2012 19:36

my kiddiwinks, DT, bubs

rarely call them my charges tbh

mogandme · 06/07/2012 20:03

My charge/the boy I look after

CourtneyA · 06/07/2012 20:09

'My Charge' seems too harsh. I was discussing this with my employer the other day and she agreed with me.

I just say 'the girls i look after'

confusedpixie · 06/07/2012 20:21

My charges. If I'm talking about them individually I'll user the first letter of their name or their first name depending on who I am taking too.

Depends on the circumstances, the children for whom I nanny, maybe used on occasion.
