Do you let them go upstairs to the childrens rooms and get toys to bring down and play with
Do you ask your DCs if mindees can play with their toys - lego for example or star wars toys?

Mindee 1 - who is 9 - and I have mentioned on here before how he is a bit bossy and a bit of a know all, keeps aksing, repeatedly if he cna play with DS2's lego (he ahs a huge collection) or star wars toys or Dr Who toys.
I keep saying no, that there's plenty of toys down stiars for him to play with, but he says that are "boring".

I feel that my DCs are entitled to have some space and privacy of their own. I just wondered if others feel the same

I have a downstairs toilet so upstairs not used.

I do not practise my kids to bring any of their friends or cm kids into bedrooms.

I do not expect my kids to share their toys with the cm kids. If they choose to then they have to share them properly.

I do try to provide the cm with a range of age appropriate things. I do ask for any suggetstion they have in what they would like to do.

All toys provided have to be share where possible.

No, I do not let them play in my ds's room, simply because it is not registered and it is his space. I have plenty of toys which are suitable to play with downstairs and I offer other activities (creative play, plenty of age-appropriate books and when the weather is good we go out to the park).

As one of posters said only the boring are bored.
