Ofsted - vouchers/income threshold??

Does anyone know please about the apparent changes Ofsted are thinking of making?

Someone has mentioned to me it has something to do with the income threshold but I need to know if it's to do with the nanny's income or the employers etc...

I think it may be connected in some way to do with an employers income in relation to the tax benefit of vouchers....if so, presumably employers will want to lower our (dare I say it?!) nett pay if they aren't receiving any assistance in the form of vouchers?

Why would Ofsted be making changes... voucher scheme has very little to do with the childcare regulator. Hope they are not overstepping their purpose.

Could you provide more info about what changes you have heard about?

"Busy Bees have launched a benefits campaign, ?Mind the Gap ? Raise the Cap?, in the hope of convincing MPs and Government ministers that the childcare voucher allowance should rise from £55 to £75 per week."

Maybe you mean that campaign?

Maybe they mean about the voucher amount dropping for higher rate tax payers joining the scheme. Childcare Voucher Changes, April 2011
The change happened over a year ago though.

Anyone know of any changes to Childcare Vouchers since April 2011?
