Hi,
If a Nanny charges £10/hr, does that rate increase if she/he is caring for siblings?

no change ime

nope, same rate. That's why for some people it often works out cheaper to have a nanny than put their children in nursery.

Thank you!

Sometimes a pay rise will be given when a new sibling comes along, but a nanny isn't paid per child so there is no obligation to. I think at £10ph you're already paying top whack so I wouldn't. If you were paying less I would say a slight pay rise would be nice.

Just a comment - a nanny is an employee, therefore she does not "charge" in the same way that a childminder does.

The wage is for the duties agreed between the employer and employee.

Do make sure that the wage is agreed gross of tax
