I know what I want to put in them and have a rough draft lying in the kitchen.

It's more that I am a comp dummy and stressing about how to get it looking good for my pre registration inspection.

I don't suppose there are any templates online that I just need to input my own info into [hopefull]

Are you a member of childcare.co.uk? There's a section for childminders info/policies on there, or www.childmindingforum.co.uk is fab for info and resources.

You should have an Early Years Development officer (or some such title) for your area.

Give them a call on monday & ask for an appt to go over things for a pre-reg visit.

You can find all policies and procedures on surrey county council, early years.
type in polices and procedures and it will list what's needed in each policy.
good luck!

www.childmindingpaperwork.co.uk has documentation written by an outstanding childminder who gained that status on 1st graded inspection if that's any help?

You don't need a template, and it doesn't have to be fancy. Mine is simply a Word document with the title of each policy at the top of the page and then the policy. You don't need logos or anything - they will look at the words not how it's all laid out. The Bromley CMA has heaps of policies on their website, which I found especially useful for the trickier-to-word policies like safeguarding and lost child.

Im just registering as a Nanny on the voluntary section of ofsted....does anyone know what policies and procedures I must have please x

NannyJV You'll probably find that you get more responses if you start a thread of your own, as people are likely to read the OP and answer that (like I very nearly did!)
