? I have 2 sibling of the ages mentioned it title. Theya re with me only before and after shcool.
They are both very different in what they like to do, and theolder child seems to get -jealous is the wrong wordin this situation - but it's like jealousy towards the younger child

Child Awill be doing something. Child B will be doing something different.
So if the younger child say "I'm bored" I suggest... doing dinosuar chases. immediately this happens the older child says "I don't want to do this activity, I want to - make a secret diary" and he will start doing that, but wants me to help him. As soon as i stop anythig with child B to help child A,he goes back to whatever he was doing first time round . Its almost as if he wants me away from child B,. If child B is watching a dvd, or playing with something on his own, child A doesn't mind, it's when i actively start helping him that the issues seem to start.

The mum has said she is happy for older child to play on teh fronter website (its connected to their school) but obviously stting at a pC all afternoon isn't good.
Everythign I suggest for both children to do is met by a firm no from one of them, and if child B says yes, then child A will immedaitely say "Oh I'm not doing it if he is, I want to do x,y,z instead and I NEED you to help me do it"

Any suggestions of things they might both like?

I went to one nursery who had a shed in garden which they allowed the children to paint with big decorating brushes - could go over and over and make huge pictures. Needs good weather and a shed wall you don't mind looking mad but has high novelty factor. Hmm

Playdough!....all kids of any age can't resist it.maybe you could offer different tools for the older child to use-you can also download some playdough playmats from www.sparklebox.co.uk that can make it more fun.

Thanks for those suggestions. They don't do playdoh, the older one breaks whatever the younger one is making and vice versa.
Any other suggestions. Soemthing that will occupy both of them
