We will be working in central Paris and are looking for activities for our daughters aged 11 and 9 to do... they speak no French!
Only plan so far is to bring someone with us which is quite expensive!
Thanks

If they don't speak French your best option is probably to take someone as an au pair type arrangement. Will you be in an appt or hotel?

Otherwise you could try finding someone there, a student, an au pair who isn't needed over the summer perhaps and have them in a daily basis but that would cost lots as you'd need to employ them in France without any of the state help or tax incentives.

The municipal childcare centres will be francophone but are very good. Whether you would qualify as nonresidents is debatable.

Alternatively try contacting the bilingual schools to see whether they know of anything.

Had you been there in August I'd have offered if DS could come too. Those are fab ages to be in Paris. Loads to do!

Thanks - I wouldn't mind them learning some French but not to feel too lost! Do you know any specific bilingual schools?

EAB and EABJM are the two big ones.

Links off the top of my head but google will correct me Wink

Otherwise there are hors contrat schools, plus the international school of Paris which is non francophone.

Whereabouts will you be based? Those are all west Paris (8th, 15th and 16th)
