No - I do my own self assessment.

Yes. Then forgot to submit it in time for the inspector to read it. Thought saving it would automatically submit it. Oh no. Paper copy i'd printed was handy to refer (well, parts were) to though during the inspection.

Yes, but I would never have started if I realised how long it would take. Updating it is MUCH quicker.

Yes i think its fantastic
I am rubbish at remembering stuff so was great to have it writen down and the ofsted people could read it before they came so they only had to ask for evidence to back what i said up Grin

Yes. It is a bit of a nightmare and an awful lot of work but worth it in my opinion. I just had an inspection in December and I wrote my SEF in quite a lot of detail. The inspector spent a whole 3 hours perched on the couch reading it while I played with the children outside. She hardly asked me anything as she said it was all covered in the SEF. I am not good at answering questions on the spot as I tend to become tongue tied so this was brilliant for me. It definitely helped me to get my grade Smile

No I do my own written evalution of my practice and currently have a 'Good' report.

Yes, was exhausting and time consuming but well worth it.

She had no questions to ask at the end as I'd covered so much, so that made it easier to focus on the children. I got Outstanding in all areas and I think the SEF helped.
