One off nanny via an agency

Hello,

Can anyone recommend an agency (I think) or any other bright ideas ...

I need to be in central London one day next week for work. I will maybe need to have a two year old or a two and three year old with me (either one or two children).

We will arrive at about 11.30 by train, and leave at about 4.

I would want someone to meet us at the train station, take care of the children straight away (maybe take them to a park or museum, and give them some lunch) and then meet me back at the train station in plenty of time to catch the train home.

Is this something that an agency might find someone to do?

Clearly as it is someone I will never have met before I would want them to be properly checked etc./references beforehand.

Any thoughts? Any recommendations?

I am registered with an agency called that provides ad hoc and emergency childcare and babysitting, called Likeminders. I imagine they'd probably be able to help, they are based in SW11 but from what I gather cover all of London. They were very thorough in checking me out so assume their other nannies would be similarly vetted - maybe give them a call?
