Almost done policies and procedures.

Under the complaints policy, would you include the complaints form or would you say available on request? Not sure which is better?

Also have you got a risk assessment policy? or is that ott?

Thanks for your time Smile

I don't have a risk assessment policy. I have a couple of sentences in my health and safety policy to do with risk assessments. I try to keep my policies to a minimumSmile

I don't actually have a complaints form that I give to parents. My complaints policy just says that thay can make a complaint in writing or by email. I have a comlaints form that is for my personal use to record any complaints that I receive. If I ever receive a complaint, I will fill in the form myself and just staple a copy of the original complaint to the back. The form has sections to do with how I investigated the complaint and Ofsted's response so it is not something that parents could fill in. I don't include this form with my policies. I have a big binder that has a complaints section and the form is in there. I don't know if this is the correct way of doing it or not but it is what I have been advised by my CDO.

Thanks for that mamamaise, great stuff.

Good idea to include it in health and safety, I may need to check if this has been included already.

You can take it over the top with policies.

I want to have a form which I have ready just in case Ofsted or a parent ask for one.

Due to my past experiences I have introduced certain policies ie payment policy.
