Childminder's Club: Which would be nicer?

For a child to put a new decoration on the Christmas tree each day (We don't have enough decorations for one each)
OR
For the Christmas fairy to put one on each night and then we try and find it the next day? (easy at first - getting more difficult as the tree fills)

Remember they are all under 2

I think it would be more fun to put new decorations on themselves, but as you have limited decorations, I guess they'd have to take turns (could be difficult for under 2s!)

Could you also make a big paper tree to stick on wall for them all to be able to "put something on" (even if it is a star sticker or whatever?)

I agree that is such a fab idea theprisoner,
will use your idea and make a big one up tonight to stick on the wall then mindees can make a decoration a day to stick on the tree.

Perhaps I should have made it clear that I operate a strict pay-me-commission-for-my-ideas policy in this house!!! Cash will be fine ...

Not a CM, but is it possible to get some more decorations? You can get packs of 20 at the Pound Shop at the moment so it wouldn't exactly break the bank. Or you could get the children to make their own out of card.
