Evening

I've been working on advertising today and put together a list of what I had already used and some news ones I've come across.

Hope I've remembered them all! Anyway, thought I'd share it with the rest of you. There are others around that charge a fee - these are free!

If I find more, I'll add them!

Hope it's of some use to those looking to fill vacancies like myself.

If any of you know of others, please add them to the list.

Cheers

www.graphicgarden.com

Karen

I'm gonna put links to other childminders websites so if anyone wants theirs on it email me [email protected]

karen23 · 30/11/2005 13:39

oops just saw my spelling I meant category

HellyBelly · 30/11/2005 13:48

Can't remember as done so many of these but I think it may have been Nannies and Au Pairs (listing not showing yet).

If you do a search saying 'childminder' then it brings up results for nannies and au pairs so I'm guessing it would be that.

Do you know what the options are?

By the way, what do you mean link to other childminders websites? Where?

When I publish my own website in a week or so I'm having a links page with links to other websites like this and netmums etc.

So i was wondering if any of the childminders on here wanted me to have a link on my page to theirs.

Don't know if it will get more enquiries for anyone but its worth a shot

I've managed to find the right catergory now but someone else has got the same name as me i was gonna call my business karens childminding but there's one on there.

juliaemma · 30/11/2005 14:34

On the NCT one, there does not look like there is anywhere to put one????xxxx

HellyBelly · 30/11/2005 14:38

Nice idea Karen! I would LOVE a link please. I think it could help as some people come on my guest book to leave nice messages and say they are not in my area but like the website. If they look at links page, they may find someone who is in their area!! You never know, may also help me get more website business if you don't think I'm being cheeky!! (having said that, got a few at the mo so I'm ok!)

Would you like me to put yours on my links page too??? (unless you are in my village )

So, your name has been taken has it! How annoying Is this person with the same name in your area?

Juliaemma - ???? - it was in May I did all this so it's now a bit of a blur I reckon I must have gone onto this site to get the contact details for our local organiser and then I emailed them to ask them to put a small ad in the NCT newsletter. Lots of parents see these and my rep said I could have a small ad in return for a small gift donation (I used to do Virgin Vie so just gave a small item from my stock).

I must admit, I can't see anywhere to do it online either!

New one:

www.childcareresources.co.uk

This site is being re-designed but I filled in the form to be added to their directory. Not sure what will happen but very quick and easy to do!

This has mainly nursery listings but I've added myself. Nice and easy. Not showing yet but they never normally do.
