Hi. Im going for an interview tomorrow which is only half days in term time and full in the holidays. Ive heard some nannies work it out so they take home the same amount each month. I want to do this but dont know how to work it out!!
Do I go through the school calendar, and at the end divide it all by 52 (weeks in the year) its confusing!!!!
Any help would be gratefully received.

Total number of hours worked per year (will need to know the school term dates), then split into 12 monthly payments.

You will also need to work out holiday entitlement (or your boss will). Again base it on hours, as day length is going to vary depending if it's during term time or school holiday time.

It's a similar issue to Whats the best wage arrangement for potential nanny.

I'd love to know how these things should really be calculated out.

Does anyone have a nanny who works different hours during term time, than holiday time. How do you work out pay and holiday entitlement?
