Can someone recommend a good maternity nurse?

Hi,

I am due with twin girls in May and I would like to have a maternity nurse to help me for the first three months. We had a maternity nurse for DS1 and DD2 but that was a few years ago and she has started a family herself now and stopped working. :-(

Does anyone know a good maternity nurse?

Someone free for May-July? Is twins experience necessary, and whereabouts are you based?

I think you might struggle to find someone very experienced unless they have a cancellation or you go through an agency.

I am in east midlands (sorry thats prob obv with my user name) and can do upto 3 nights a week and am a qualified childrens nurse and have lots of twin and newborn experience and night nanny/maternity nanny experience. My email is [email protected] if you are in the same area.

Otherwise you may find someone on here but many people will be booked up if you want 24/5 or 24/6

you may find a trainee maternity nurse or a nanny with baby twin experience/newborn experience wanting to get into maternity nannying/nursing so would be available at short notice and also be slighter cheaper than a very experience mat nurse.

could try an agency www.kidsmatter.uk.com are very good and also think eden nannies cover everywhere as well

good luck
