For a 24 hour session for a 1 year old and 3 year old. The parents are airline staff and will be away so will sleep in their house but the baby still wakes at night. Your thoughts please.

Expect it will be the same or very similar to Weekend rate for nanny message thread.

So somewhere between £150-£200.

at least £200 esp if baby wakes

generally if im proxy parenting and baby is young/awake/in bad habbits routine Wink etc then i charge per hour at night like night nannying

How often does baby wake? Would there be an uninterrupted period of sleep?

Most nannies will charge on top for hours spent awake during the sleepover fee period.

Is this cost for both the children, you couldn't charge this for each child???

Nannies charge per family so yes costs include for for both children

PaulaMummyKnowsBest · 02/04/2011 12:13

nannies charge per family so as long as the childcare is happening in the family home, the charge will be for all of the children within the family.

Childminders charge per child so if you are taking the children to a childminder for the care, then expect to pay per child

I would charge £12 an hr as the baby wakes at night unless they know the baby wakes for example at 2am and then has a cuddle feed and goes back to bed within 30mins then I would prob just charge my 24hr rate of £200 however if its oh the baby still wakes at night - then I would def charge hrly rate as this could be once or several times and may take a while to settle esp if no parents.
