I'm going to cry; I asked one of my mums to write a review on a childcare website for me

I did this for my cm once (but it was for Ofsted). Made her cry.
KatyMac, you obviously deserve it. She made the effort to write it and it was lovely. That's fab. :)

Awww Katy, it's lovely isn't it. I get so embarrassed and cry at these things too, lovely when they go so out of their way isn't it. Well done you :)

I shouldn't really link it as it has all my details on but I think I have anonimised it:

Both my children attend XX and I am incredibly happy with the care, love and nurturing they receive from the team while I am at work.
They have both attended since they were very tiny, around 4/5 months old, which has led to them feeling that the childcare setting is a home away from home, and I am sure that they consider some of the members of staff as extended family.
I also have noticed that their development and confidence has benefited from them attending regularly.
I firmly believe that the extended 'settling in' period offered at XX really helps both Mum and Child get used to the idea of being apart, I know that it enabled me to take that major step back to work, without having to worry about the happiness of my baby because I knew that she was relaxed and happy in a familiar environment with people she knew.
I also find the happy family environment at XX really important. Mealtimes are eaten together at a large table, where good manners and healthy eating are encouraged. Other children attending are looked upon as very close friends or almost siblings, which also creates an environment for happy relaxed children.
Children of all ages play well together, the younger ones benefiting from the interaction with the older ones, as they would in a big family group.
There is a large garden with lots of toys and activities to keep the children busy. There is also a decked area for outside play undercover. The children love the independence of moving from playing indoors to outside on the deck on sunny days. The indoor play room is well organised and stocked with good quality toys to keep everyone stimulated.
My daughter?s speech has definitely benefited from being in such a busy social environment with lots of interaction with adults and children alike.
Good behaviour is encouraged and rewarded and the children respond well to the 'house rules' making it easy to continue the good work at home.
XX is a fantastic place for my children to be while I am at work. I would recommend it highly to anyone looking for childcare in the area.
