Contract type question - sorry......................

I just have a quick question about contracts - I have one in place for a child I look after, but after Christmas he will be going to full time school and I will only have him for the first 3 weeks in Jan as he is doing some sort of staggered settling in, so the hours on the original contract wont be the same. Do I need to draw up a new contract for this?

TIA

Personally I would, Are you continuing to have him after school? if so it could all be written into your new contract.

Thanks for your reply.

The thing is I will only be having him for the first 3 weeks of the new term till hes settled in and thats it! I may be having him after school during some of those weeks but I'm not sure yet. Would I still do it for the 3 weeks - not that its a problem but I just wondered if I needed to!

Could you not just put in an ammendment on his excisting contract? not sure what else as I haven't come across this yet myself.

yeah maybe I could do that!

Thanks for your replies anyway!

Just type a letter with the changes and get the Mum to sign it then you sign it

Should be fine (I do this for lots of minor hour changes)

oh thats a good idea katymac!

Thanks!

Yeah, I have a temporary 4 week contract recently - just typed it on Word and got mum to sign!
