Childcare for an hour after school on 3 days a week?

Where can I find something like this? I am looking to study nest year and the course finishes at 3pm which is when the kids are finished (they are 4 and 6 years old). The afterschool club is £10.50 from 3-5.30 but I am guessing they won't break that down or they will lose money and I doubt a childminder would do that little amount of time without asking for extra to cover the loss of 2 spaces.

Any ideas? Thanks :)

Another parent at school perhaps?
Some childminders might do it, though they may charge a minimum amount.

Mine does 20 minutes before school 3 days a week and charges by the half hour.
Some will do just the hours you want, it's a case of finding them.

Not really friendly enough with anyone to ask that - especially as the youngest is a bit of a handful. I figure the minimum amount the cm will charge will be more than the £63 a week the afterschool club will be.

A CM might well do this. My CM wife gets rid of a child at school drop off so a space becomes available. Definitely worth an ask.

I'm a CM and I would do this. Ask around, it might fit in well with someone. I'd probably charge about £30. So def ask around.

You might appreciate having a little extra flexibility to stay behind to speak to the tutor or go to the library without pressuring yourself to get to pick up. Obviously I don't know how far away you'll be from your DC's school or how likely that is but better to err on the side of caution.

Not the end of the world if a CM wants to have them til 5 and it may not be more than the afterschool club even if they do IYSWIM.

I'm a CM and would do that if the space is there, I would only charge the hours needed too so would do it for £12, am I being too soft?
